On MSNBC’s Hardball Thursday night, right-wing radio host Kevin James attempted to defend President Bush’s comments comparing Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) to Nazi appeasers because he favors talking with our enemies. James compared Obama to Neville Chamberlain, about whom James could only cry: “He’s an appeaser!”
Matthews pressed James at least 19 times over five minutes to simply explain what Chamberlain had done in 1938 and 1939 to make him an “appeaser.” James could only shout his talking point over and over, prompting Matthews to threaten to end the interview:
MATTHEWS: You don’t know what you’re talking about, Kevin. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Tell me what Chamberlain did wrong.
JAMES: Neville Chamberlain was an appeaser, Chris. Neville Chamberlain was an appeaser, all right? […]
MATTHEWS: I’ve been sitting here five minutes asking you to say what the president was referring to in 1938 at Munich.
JAMES: I don’t know.
MATTHEWS: You don’t know, thank you.

That's what hardball should be like every show.

Don't you just love it when ignorant wingnuts make fools of themselves in public the way Kevin James did? :D

Chris Matthews just got raised several notches in my estimation. He exposed a typical right wing "buzzword" mentality. They cannot deal in facts because they can't deal in complete sentences --only labels that have been studied by focus groups for their propaganda effect. It's easy enough to 'label' someone an "appeaser" or "liberal" but it takes at least two working brain cells to define what one DOES that makes one a "liberal" or an "appeaser". KUDOS TO MATTHEWS! He's exposed a fraud. And a "fraud", in this case, is one who lies to himself and others.

I had stopped watching Chris Matthews, I thought he spun far too much. He let people say things that were incorrect and did not challenge their spin with facts. If I knew they were spinning, so did he.
What he did to Kevin James is what should be done to all the 'talking heads' who make the circuit promoting the spin of the day. They have gotten away with spinning (distorting facts) far too long. If he keeps that up, he'll be worth watching. -

Stinking hilarious. The best part was Mark Green's comment:
"Kevin, when you're in a hole stop digging." -
This is why i watch MSMBC, they actually have credible newscasters.
-
The problem with these right wing idiots is they believe in this simple formula:
The louder you talk, the less truth can be spoken back.-

This is also why I watch MSNBC.
...and of course Keith...Dan too.
They do have credible news most of the time.
If they lose their Direct to Patient Drug Advertising they would have more of my trust.
I physically am sicken when I see these ads come on. They are harmful to society and keep us from getting a free flow of information due to conflict of interest.-

Kevin, former FEMA director Michael Brown just called... he wants his credibility back.
-
it was an important moment during this political madness to point out those individuals that provide 'information' really have no idea what they are talking about. ignorance was revealed. hopefully it will engage people to research or follow up on what you hear, rather than take what is said as gospel.

The fact is people like Kevin James can never bring up the actual point of their "debate". Instead they bring up completely irrelevant points and then figure if they do scream loud enough it will pick up steam. When confronted by Matthews he was stumped! I loved it....
....one more thing, it's sad that the President had to stoop to discuss this on foreign soil. Way to represent America! -
He was an appeaser! He appeased!
this goes on for so long!!!
HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-
