German sprinter calls Bolt a drug cheat

German sprinter Tobias Unger called the Olympic 100m men’s final a “farce” and cast doubt on the legitimacy of superstar Usain Bolt’s win.

Unger: “Bolt didn’t even warm up for the semi final. He showed up in shorts and jogging shoes, did his pickups and practice starts, put on his spikes and then ran the 100m in 9.92 seconds.

“Bolt ran a time of 9.8 seconds in May and again at the end of September. He showed no tiredness during training,” an annoyed Unger added.

“They do whatever they want on their island. Nothing happens to them. I’m the only one here at the Olympics who is registering with the doping controllers.”

Bolt apparently didn’t even know how to fill out the doping forms. The American sprinters’ coaches actually laughed when they heard about German doping controls.

Unger, who was cut in the semi-finals, threatened to quit: “I just don’t have the desire anymore.”

Racism? Valid suspicion? Sore loser?

    I thought racism died, but clearly it hasn't. My people are natural born runner/sprinter. We are trained/seasoned professional. No drugs needed to enhance our stamina. My people showed up at the olympics to prove a point and damn well they are doing it. I am proud of them-HATER will always hate. SO MY PEOPLE KEEP DOING THE DAMN THING.

    Tobias Unger-Racism possibly. Sore loser, definitely.
    Asinine and possibly mentally challenged.

    The athletes have been tested at least seven times to date-4 preceding the 100m final and certainly after each final, and definitely as a medallist and as record breaker.

    He demonstates lack of common sense and intelligence as he is certainly ignorant of our history when it comes to athletics.

    I suggest that he spends a year in Jamaica and then maybe he will be an athlete worthy to be mentioned.

    Bolt is Jamaican right? Something tells me if he has any drugs in his system they will be making him run slower rather than faster.

    I have no idea but I know a professional cyclist and apparently (in cycling at least) everybody dopes- You just have to stay one step ahead of what they test for.

    I strongly agree, he does lack common sense. He most certainly needs to spend at least 1yr in Jamaica, to develop his running/sprinting skills. Once you have a junkie mentality, you will always have a junkie mentality. He just can't see pass the dope.

    The carribean islanders love to have fun in everything they do, moreso in sports. Remember the flamboyance of their great cricket team of the 80's. Bolt's easy style certainly annoys the opposition. Welcome to Jamaica Toby! Ride a donkey, eat them ripe bananas, sweet like honey. Dance to the beats of calypso and knock a rum. Easy does it. Noone has a monopoly of victory. Live and let live Tobias.
