When I saw her step on the stage I thought she was trying to make statement about American torture by wearing a Gitmo prisoner suit...
-
I thought she hit it out of the park and looked great - do you think she accomplished what she set out to do?
-
She did more than hit the ball out of the park, she reminded people why they voted for her in the first place. it was great......... I wonder how barack will top her speech.
-
It's unfortunate we can only elect one Democratic candidate to president, because it's clear we have two phenomenal ones. Hillary's unflinching support of Barak, is as much a testament to her strength of character as it is to Barak's strength as the Democratic nominee.
Once again, in reporting on potential dissent, the media have shown they are almost as good at creating the news as they are at reporting it.
-
I loved her comment about how appropriate it was that the "twins" (McBush) will be appearing together next week in the Twin Cities.
-
That was an amazing speech! I'm worried Obama's might seem like a let down in comparison.
The way Hillary connected with the crowd was so masterful, so effortless! It was inspiring, perfectly executed and a work of art.
Without a doubt Hillary is a brilliant politician and leader and with her in the Senate -- possibly taking over for Nancy Pelosi God willing -- the future for America seem very bright.
More and more the Democratic Party seems like an Olympic All-Star squad filled with larger than life legends.
The Republicans? Eh. What was the name of that team that the Harlem Globetrotters always kicked the ass of?
While Barack "Lemonade" Obama is doing trick shots from half court McCain is wandering around with his shorts around his ankles wondering what the hell happened.
Hillary, you go girl! You were a superstar tonight! This may be the end of the 08 Presidential campaign, but definitely not the end for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

She didn't match up to Kucinich, but she was good.

"Obama is my candidate"... what choice did she have but to say that? But it is so nice to see how people who were calling her all sorts of names and hating on her just a couple of months ago (including the media) love her now because she knuckled under.::::sarcasm::: I sometimes wonder in politics about the term "unity" though. To me it's just a subtle nicer way of saying, you are either with us or against us... as in, if you don't like your choice don't dissent, just get off the train. But I do give her credit for hopefully giving more women hope that the glass ceiling will one day break.

I thought that she did a good job for herself but, did anyone notice that she never said that he would be a good commander and chief but said that his wife would be a good first lady. She said that she was behind him, because she had to be. I believe that it was a good speech, but i think it was more to do for herself and Bill.
I wouldnt support her or Obama, but she did what she had to do. Nothing more nothing less. The speech was good but not what the dems needed to win.
this is what she should have saod "I support him because i have too, not because i want to."
/love bill clinton

that was an amazing speech. How could any democrat listen to that speech and not think "oh no we made a mistake" or at least that she should have been picked for veep
-
Hillary was the person that could have won the nomination again tonight. It was truly an inspirational unifying speech. Made me think SCOTUS Judge or Secretary of State. She did herself proud.

If anything, this speech rehabilitates her own image. I doubt it's changed the of mind all her bitter followers. Those who were on the fence...maybe. Great speech nonetheless. I like the fact that she's at least logical.
-
I thought it was an amazing heart felt speech
-
I think she did a wonderful job. Bill Clinton is going to talk about foreign policy tomorrow.
She is a true Democrat and I think she may have laid to rest any thoughts of her being "selfish." We have to wind the election we can't allow McBangBang a chance to have his catfish little hands on the bomb.
He will make that "Bomb bomb bomb Iran" joke a reality.

Hopefully, the 30% of her followers who say they'll spite their candidate and their party and vote for John "Short Arms" McCain were paying attention.
-
I don't understand why people need to watch all the DNC and RNC convention spin in order to decide who to vote for. Don't they know where the candidates stand?
-
She did a fine job. She could've have spoken more about Senator Obama, but she was effective in acknowledging her supporters while working to convince them to vote for him.
She made her most important point by humorously driving home that Senator McCain and GWB are like twins. This will prove to be the most useful message in the coming months. -
Not even Hillary can keep me from voting for Obama.
-
When Barak is finished with his turn at the presidency, I know who the next Democratic nominee will be, uncontested. Hillary.
-
Her speech was much better than most had anticipated and more than I had expected her to deliver. I also see that she definitely wanted it to be clear that she is proud of herself.

For those of you who were queefing over Michelle Obamas speech, Hillarys by far was the more effective in relaying at least a sense of what the issues are and how the democratic nominee (Obama) will get it done.
I am for neither Obama or McCain, I am "wasting" my vote on Nader. However, Hillary did give a much better speech from a public speaking perspective.
-
Spoken so beautifully by Mrs. Clinton. I realize now why so many of her supporters are reluctant to relinquish their loyalty to any candidate but her.
-
I think the lack of trollies on this thread is a clear indication of how thoroughly Hilliary smashed the notion that the Democratic party has any unity problems.
-
I like what hillary had to say about keep going right TO the polls come nov.... and i will be there.... I have too much on the line not to vote!!! so if you have a friend in nov and that friend want you to hang out with them!!! LOOK AT THEM AND KEEP GOING RIGHT TO THAT BOOTH AND DO WHAT IS RIIGHT FOR YOU!!!
-
She did a fine job indeed. I especially liked her kind words about Michelle, and her not so gentle words about McCain. I'm not disappointed.
