Went to muxtape's site to see what it is exactly, that they do, and why the site needs to be around in the first place...
But oops! They shut it down til the legal smoke clears.
What, pray tell, is a mixtape site... And why do people need them?
For those of you unfamiliar - check out Pandora.com - it's a free streaming music site that works off of your personal tastes, using the music genome project.
And guess what? They actually pay artists for the use of their work! The only trouble they have is the RIAA keeps raising the royalty fees... Seems like nobody can win in the music industry. Except the RIAA and the ones already profiting off of years prior.

Marketeering and industries targeting youth are vicious when it comes to their revenue.
The internet confounded them for a while, but they're catching up.
