Matt Welch is a journalist, blogger, pundit and a libertarian. Since 2008, he has been the editor-in-chief at the monthly libertarian journal, Reason. Recently (from 2006 to 2007), he was an editorial page editor for the Los Angeles Times. He has written a portrayal of Republican presidential candidate John McCain, from a libertarian perspective. In McCain: The Myth of a Maverick, Welch argues that a McCain presidency would advance a statist agenda.

Ron Paul has many great ideas...I believe that he is an honest man with only the best intentions...is he shut out of the wrestling match?...yes....only two in the ring at a time....Revolution....this will not happen again in this country......the character and fiber of the average American is far too watered down....and everyone wants to have results without involvement...impossible..at this rate standing for long periods will be hard...Revolution....impossible......Golden Ruler....optimistically negative....Johnnie Hargrave........

Ron Paul offers much to think about.
The idea of the US starting a war before someone else does is severely macho-aggressive, money motivated and warped.
Should Senator McCain win, I have every reason to believe that he will be forced by his own administration to reinstate the draft, no matter what his personal feelings are against it.
I will consider that very carefully when going to the polls. -
No Ron Paul, then Barr 08! Let's hasten the end of the Republican party!!

Write in Ron Paul, Just because hes not on the ballot doesnt mean you cant vote for him. He is shut out because he wants to get rid of useless and unconstitutional practice within the government. That means the extra lining of green in politicians, judges, lobbyists, court employees, and private companies pockets will be gone away.
