You must promise to give similar prominence when Ebay itself goes down. Think it can't happen? Do your homework. When a company starts lying to the market, the media, its employees and its customers, it's got something to hide.
The difference then will be that the victims will not be financial geeks. They'll be your aunts & uncles, babysitters, dog walkers and neighbors. They'll be people in wheel chairs and stay at home moms, retirees and the chronically unemployed.
