A traditional dirndl is a must for the ladies at Oktoberfest, and this year has some of the sexiest ever - but which celebrity has donned the best one?
A Valentino gown or Versace mini-dress is definitely a fashion faux pas at the legendary Munich beer festival. Instead, a dirndl is required to fit the mood of Bavarian brass bands, steaming sausages, pretzels and, of course, beer.
German socialite Chiara Ohoven (23) and TV presenter Caroline Beil (21) both went for the traditional look: ankle-length skirt, a long apron and a puffy-sleeved blouse.
But the old-fashioned dress code is not as strict as it used to be, as German television star Giulia Siegel (33) and model Ramona Drews (34) proved in their mini-skirt dirndls which showed off a lot of leg.

I agree with RainbowMan ... what is going on? Even Selma Hayek wore a Dirndl on Wetten Dass recently and it looked horrible ... I am not a fan!

It's not a great look I agree Jana, but that Salma is proper gorgeous, even without her breasts hanging out German-style. But I agree, less of the goat herd costume please.
