the statement "where is Dick Cheney?" can apply to bush's whole presidency, I think he's been one of the least seen vp's ever, at first after 9/11 i just thought it was because they wanted to establish the president as a clear leader of the country and that they were scared of having the president and vp in the same place at once in case of another terrorist attack, but now i don't know i feel like Dick has been using bush as his puppet and has been just fine staying behind the scenes.
