it may not be a conspiracy theory, but it is still just a theory.

but that's the world we live in. thoughts holding onto more thoughts. faith in those thoughts is the thread...or the glue that holds them together. the only thing i know is for real, for certain, is my mind. all else is perception, and touch, and smell, and taste, and noise. we could very well be dead right now; if you alter the definition of course. but, as you may very well suggest, "that's just a theory." :) it's living that makes the theory, but you have to have a theory. (tis a theory too.) the cycle: finite. (tony kushner is my god now.) j/k :)

be aware, be wary: the amero. this truth, perhaps too, is stranger than fiction. nonetheless, it would make sense for such a thing to come into effect: the american dollar is dying...

possible? well, yes. probable? i would think so...

    we'll see. soon.

Interesting. The website UFOblogger tells us the Amero is no longer a conspiracy, and yet, the only references to the Amero are the websites telling us how bad it is.

There are no French francs - France was among the first countries to switch to the Euro. The British pound is in a vulnerable position, too. Also, I believe that it is illegal for an American citizen residing in the USA to open an account in any bank outside of the USA.

I have been advising people for the past eight years to buy gold and silver bullion.

    Rumors of "Amero coins"

In August 2007, rumors and conspiracy theories began circulating across the Internet regarding alleged United States Treasury-issued "amero" coins.

The inspiration behind these rumors may have been the posting of images of medallions created by coin designer Daniel Carr.[1] Carr, who designed the New York and Rhode Island 2001 statehood quarters, sells medals and tokens of his own design on his commercial website, "Designs Computed" (also known as "DC Coin").[1] Among his designs are a series of gold, silver and copper fantasy issues of "amero coins" ranging in denomination from one to one thousand.[1] The coins have the legend "Union of North America" on the back with his company's logo, a stylized "DC",[20] in small type.[21] Concerning his "amero" designs, he mentions on his website:
“ My goal with these coins is not to endorse a Union of North America or a common "Amero" currency. I fully support the United States Constitution, and I would not welcome (in any form) a diminishment of its provisions. I expect that these coins will help make more people aware of the issue and the possible ramifications. I leave it up to others to decide if they are in favor of, or against a North American Union. And I encourage citizens to voice their approval or disapproval of government plans that impact them.[22] ”

Unauthorized postings of images taken from his website have been reposted widely across the Internet, often being used as supposed "proof" of the amero coinage. Notably, former Internet radio talk show host Hal Turner ran a full article on his website about the "amero coin", claiming to have arranged for a United States Government minted "amero" to be smuggled out of the Treasury Department by an employee of that organization.[23]

Following Turner's assertions of federal minting of ameros, a web site marketing the curio coins released a statement debunking Turner's claims of a government cover up regarding Daniel Carr's amero products.[24] The debunking website Snopes also ran a further debunking of Turner's claims, stating:

"Neither the U.S. Mint nor the U.S. Treasury has a hand in creating these 'Ameros'. These coins are merely collectibles offered to the buying public by a private company in the business of manufacturing such curiosities."[25]

Hal Turner claimed that Carr's website had been created in haste in a matter of days expressly to discredit his claim about the coinage. [26] However, Carr's designs have been available through his website since 2005,[27] and according to a WHOIS search at Network Solutions, the domain "dc-coin.com" was registered by Daniel Carr on 27 September 2005.

Harold "Hal" Turner is an American white nationalist and white supremacist from North Bergen, New Jersey. He ran his program, The Hal Turner Show, as a webcast from his home once a week and depended on donations by his listeners. He quit the show in July 2008 for good. In August his website also closed down though he retains a blog.

Turner has often made news for his extreme right-wing views. He promotes antisemitism (including rounding up and killing Jews)[1]) and opposes the existence of the state of Israel.[2] He also denies the Holocaust.[3] In 2005, Turner organized what he billed as a "rally against violence" after a white student was beaten by a black student at a high school. In 2006, he got in a fight with Jaime Vazquez, a former Jersey City deputy mayor, after Vazquez called him a racist coward. Turner has made numerous threats against political figures on his website and in other forums.

    [snip]

    Informant allegations

Allegations that Turner acts as an informant to the FBI surfaced after unidentified hackers claimed on Turner's website's forums that they had read email correspondence between him and an FBI agent, apparently his handler.[35] This led to a discussion on a neo-Nazi website on January 10, 2008, in which Turner revealed he was quitting political work, was ending his radio show and that he was separating "from the 'pro-White' movement".[35] Both the FBI and Turner declined to comment on the matter.[35] The Southern Poverty Law Center later reported that they had "revealed... that Turner was an FBI informant"[36] and the Anti-Defamation League reported that "a neo-Nazi Website had posted material reportedly found by the hackers, including alleged exchanges between himself and law enforcement agents that indicated that Turner had been providing information to them."[37]

The Euro slid to a 13-month low against the dollar, but remains a strong and desirable currency, well over and above the dollar.

"The researchers found that when people were primed to feel out of control, they were more likely to see patterns where none exist...

The researchers say that their experiments, which also tested people’s tendency to detect conspiracies and see superstitious lessons in stories, help explain why conspiracy theories and superstitions flourish when people are feeling out of control."

I wouldn't believe anything a racist bigot like Hal Turner says.

I'm from North Bergen, and I'm ashamed that this guy has such a large platform to spew his hateful and xenophobic views, and is giving such a bad name to my hometown.

Hate to spolil all the wiki fun BUT

    http://oldfraser.lexi.net/publications/critical_issues/1999/amero/section_01.html

"The three huge public policy issues for Canada over the next decade are unity, productivity, and governance. All of these questions will be importantly influenced by the current debate over a common currency with the United States. This major work by Herb Grubel is the culmination of a decade of research on the topic. It sets out the best integrated approach to seizing the advantages and avoiding the dangers implicit in this current of monetary history, spurred by the success of the euro."

The Frazer Institute is a far right Canadian think tank. A kind of Rand Corporation North with neither the resources, nor brainpower. But who does Canada's Prime Minister consult on economic long term policy? The Frazer Institute.

Sure, people trying to sell the Amero coin probably are crooks, but that the Amero concept is the real deal as a component of the economic annexation of Mexico, Canada, and the US. As the paragraph above suggests it's a matter of some delicacy and risk - like PNAC - which will wait for just the right conditions to be implemented.

Why don't we know anything about it? Why should we? Besides their meetings do not allow the press inside to hear or witness everything being planned. And shucks, no need for the public to be consulted or kept informed. You see, it's boring, big concept stuff - over their heads!

Since the participants are government cut-outs and high industry figures the courts can't force disclosure. Openness and Transparency - none.

The press? Has zero interest in following the story.

Remember ENRON and the energy deals? After the results hit the fan, only then did the corporate media decide to ask questions. They still don't know what happened.

We should have learned by now, when governments need to hide details it's not that they don't like bragging and self-congratulations. ..

I remember some guy at my work talking about this... he is a business economic major... He also said that the government debts with the mortgage crisis were the least of our problems... that it wasnt nearly as bad as some other economic issues that "the people" dont know about. I can believe this could happen... but not as drastically as I this guy says... if anything we'd maybe get 50 cents to the dollar... Anything else would be chaos and utter rioting. Also that is why the bush administration is doing the bailout.. so when the economy does crash, he wont be in office anymore...

If this ever did happen, I wonder which historical figures we'll put on the coins. Better yet, let's just go with popular culture icons from the region.

    Celine Dion - 1 Amero
    Salma Hayek - 5 Amero
    Michael Jackson -10 Amero

    Any takers?

man, so many people are ignorant in economic theory. so what if Canada and Mexico would like this change, last I checked Canadian dollars and Mexican pesos aren't the prime trading currency across the world. America would be the last country to legitimize Mexico and Canada as currency equals. If anybody remembers Mexico in the lost decade of the 80's, they defaulted on the federal level, as in their currency went to shit because they couldn't afford loans. and people think that we could actually use the same currency?? lololol..

    Canada and U.S. = long-shot
Canada, Mexico, and U.S. = when hell freezes over

    outtheinside,

Too narrow a lens in your economic theory.

Mexico has cheap labor and a vast population ready for military service in a draft. Face it US citizens don't volunteer to fight these days unless

    - they believe in the mission
    - or they have no economic choice.

Free Trade laws effectively wipe out the sovereign interests and political integrity of those who sign on. Their populations have no say whatsoever in determining national objectives.

Canada has megatons of oil and abundant resources. That's wealth and security of supply combined.

The reason for annexation? Why pay for it when you can own the country? Why go to war to steal it when with a signature - it suddenly is yours to dispose of as you please?

Why do you think that while Afghanistan and Iraq still require far more troops, yet an army is coming back to station in the US? What happened to stoploss? How many troops have already been back 3 or more times?

Balance it out. Stop just thinking about why it wouldn't work in your view but why it would work for those backing the scam.

    Widen that lens.
