In closing i would like to inform you that i watch all networks every now and then, and fox by far has the least bias of any broadcast (due to the fact that they ask high ranking liberals to defend themselves). when i watch CNN or MSNBC.. no such luck. At each step Palin was in an executive postition whereas Obama was in a subordinates position. I have fended for myself my entire life! I don't go to starbucks.While most people are concerned about loosing their homes,I already did. I have been a single mother working alone to raise my son,as a teen. Started my 1st small businesses in the 80's several others over the years.Overcome more obstacles than could (or would bother to ) explain on here. I have been an activist and community leader for 18yrs. Now due to not having insurance the incurable neuoroligical disorder I have went untreated or ignored for nearly 10 years and has left me unable to work. I continued as long as I could up until I was finally put on unpaid indefinate medical leave(because I wouldn't give up) from the job I loved! So don't make generalized assumptions.

What it does take is common sense and humility, the kind of thing you get when you work for someone else and make them proud of you. There is a reason the military doesn't hire generals, they have to work their way up until they get there.
So just because a person has not held the TOP position in government, doesn't mean he or she cannot do well.
When we talk about "who is experienced enough to be president," or we hear McCain say "This isn't an 'on the job training' position, I guess the only person qualified to be president is a former president. So, who will it be...4 more years of Bush? or on the job training of Obama?
BTW, I have worked for others for 40 years, held numerous "subordinate" positions as well as a number of "executive" positions and am currently a small business owner myself.
