Did I miss a meeting? When did Great Britain get ruined?

One of my favourites is John Prescott:

"Prescott, a revolting specimen with the manners of a flatulent caveman, demeaned our public life."

I'm a little confused over Dawkins:

"Anti-religionist Dawkins, the best-known English dissenter since Darwin, is the merciless demander of provable fact."

I think there's a strange tongue in cheek element in this list, how can Dawkins be in there?

I get why Thatcher is on there, but why is the Mail anti-Princess Diana?

What idiot wasted their time writing a whole book about this? Jimmy Saville? Really? I'm sure Janet Street-Porter will be terribly distressed to see her name mentioned there; the best they could come up with was to call her "ageing"! The horror!

Whithout exception, this woman did as much harm as she did good. John Major had her right when he refered to her as " that damn woman " Thatcher that is.

" Tony Blair: "There is a good, rough word to describe Tony Blair but we had better not write it out here in full."

This is all they could come up with for Blair? Seems like they thought they'd better just put him in there for the sake of it, otherwise risk over working their letters page editor...

And it is absolute shite that Blair is higher than Thatcher... I'm not saying the man was the messiah, but he was damned better PM!
