How will the UK bailout work?

Where as the US bailout was passed in a fit of panic, I'm glad that the UK seems to have taken more time to think over what needs to be done.
I don't think it was any coincidence that the US bill was rushed through, it's a huge and complicated documented which has no doubt has a few strange beneficiaries in it, like manufacturers of wooden arrows.
The quicker they could pass it through the better and what better way to pass it through than to threaten martial law and financial turmoil if it isn't passed?
I hope our bail out plan is much closer to Sweden's tried and tested method from the 90's rather than the panicked rush we saw in the US.

The US bail-out was a bad idea to begin with. It's American Naivity and a lazy congress that let it through with so many holes.
