This helps us none what so ever. How about a 33 story high photo-voltaic system? We are in a critical stage of developing answers to global warming so what do we do? Oh yeah, build a 33-story TV so we can waste energy advertising latte's and insurance. Sorry, not the best example of human potential.

WTF? I just bought a 60" LCD TV. Now I have to go out and buy a 33 story one now!?

Dubai is running out of oil money and they know this. So they are building extravagant resorts and spectacles to attract a large tourist base for new revenues sources. Also, I am an engineer, a screen of that size creates a major over-heating problem. I would love to see the cooling system designed for such a large screen. Quite the engineering feat.
