Now, I don't mean to brag, but didn't I say mccain had untreated issues pertaining to his having been a POW - those of you who read me that is?
Has mccain ever received treatment for the psychological impact it has had on him?
Wonder why mccain has a temper? (There can be many causes for it, but the fact his psychological paralysis resulting from his having been a POW has never been therapeutically treated, means the monster of that experience is still alive and well within john mccain.)
Why is this significant? People who suffer emotionally traumatic experiences generally are not capable of therapeutically counseling themselves. This is the second time I have personally observed mccain's traumatic POW experience play itself out and I am sure there are many many more instances I am unaware. He does after all, have a long standing reputation for having a temper.
The temper tantrums mccain suffers is a result of the lack of treatment. John can't help but perceive the world through this "tainted" lens of experience where he lost ALL control over himself - as a person who is kidnapped is or a young child who is abused. The effects are the same.
The evidence of this is most noticeable when mccain is at his most stressed, be it psychologically or physically. I must say, the rally where he made that unconscious slip of the tongue immediately followed the debate with Obama where he was clearly uncomfortable and appeared sickly and more aged (like grandpa) than a Presidential candidate than ever before. The next day offered him no rest and walla - the energy he invests to suppress the effects of the psychological trauma sapped from campaigning wanning, he slipped up revealing himself.
Palin is going to try to cover for him for her own ambitions sake - rather than encourage mccain to preserve the last of his few years of life on planet earth in comfort and relaxation. Instead, and although I disagree with him completely, I don't wish this on him, but he may not last the election if he doesn't take it easy.
The President of the United States MUST be psychologically and physically healthy. This is not a game of chance, this is our lives, our children lives, our grandchildren lives and the rest of our lives.
We can can have compassion for him, for what he's suffered as a result of serving our country, but making him President for it would be a disservice to us all, especially mccain - who like a good soldier, marches on. Someone tell him to rest - that the war is over!
Additionally, it is well known that an individual who suffers as mccain does, unconsciously seeks to recreate the situation which victimized him in an unconscious effort to overcome it. The President of the United States doing so will make victims of us all - and there is no amount of dead Iraqi's, insurgents, Al Queda or innocent lives lost that will quench or satisfy the "urge" to overcome ancient demons of mccain's past.
It truly is a different world than the one mccain visualizes.

have none of you ever had acid reflux and flashback at the same time?...I am just so scared that if he was president....his wife...Sarah Palin and her husband would always be trying to scare him to death....Boooo.....he would have more heart attacks than Fred Sanford....Golden Ruler...Johnnie Hargrave
-
"Bomb bomb bomb Iran!" smirk, try to move your arms, hobble abound the stage, go into a HissyFit and have a heart attack - voila Madam Palin.
-
...the guy wants to be president so bad...I think this is a good idea and would save a lot of money.....each state gets to have its two senators be president for one week.....they can not declare war without their Mothers permission.....they flip a coin to see which one is President and president of vice.....the best two get an additional two weeks...that way all these wanabe presidents get a chance and we can use all this money spent on the election for something good...Golden Ruler....Johnnie Hargrave...

He's like as real life version of an internet troll
-
A quick look into the future if McCain gets into office. He would like nothing more than to turn the US in to a policestate. This is the man who redefined torure so that the US could waterboard. this is no mistake, he ment it.
-
i feel kinda sorry for they guy when he makes his speeches and at debates he seems sad when he talks
but i am not an analyst so i don't know for sure-

What is his mental state like to make a gaffe like that in the month running up to election day? Of course being a POW for five years is tough, but the President needs to be with it.
-
In some sense he is right (never thought I would agree with McShame). We are all prisoners of lobbyists and oil, coal, nuclear until all tv stations would allow We Can Solve It to have a commerical on their station.

ok guys, heres the deal...
leave mccain alone, youre sense of right and wrong is being skewed
your obsession with change has blinded you to the point that you dont care about life (abortion) finishing what you started (war in iraq).
i say, go ahead, elect obama...just be careful what you wish for cuz he may just lead this country into the ground
i feel safe with mccain -
We didn't start the war in Iraq, a criminal, unelected element of our government (who are no longer in government) started that war.
There is no finishing the war because there never was a plan to finish the war.
Not that Obama will be any better on Iraq because he keeps voting to fund the war. Joe Biden his VP was one of the original Democrat Iraq war cheerleader and greased the skids for Bush to send us to war.
So don't worry about the Iraw war grinde77, we're going to "finish it".
-
When McCain starts running an honest campaign on issues and not race or ethnicity or lies then I will leave him alone otherwise I feel very comfortable in saying I despise him.

grinde77 - what difference does any of this make to a dead person?
I was talking about whether or not mccain would even survive. In my opinion - he's running close to empty.
You saw, but may wish to deny mccain sounded and acted like somebodies elderly grandfather during the debate, not a Presidential candidate.
grinde77 - you can't claim mccain will live forever - and if you assert he is good for 4 years of continuous stress - I challenge your sanity.
grinde77 - if you claim mccain's long life is best completed by needlessly subjecting him (and the American people) to the equivalent of torturing the elderly - I challenge your humanity.
Unless you are so selfish and destructive - you must take notice of mccains deterioration - politics aside.
Look at the wear that Bush or any President suffers. mccain is already starting at the end point. You've got to feel for him - does he want to go out in glory? If so, who does that benefit? Palin? She just wants - that's why she was called a barracuda. That has a negative connotation by the way.

He's a senile 72 year old war mongering figure head who shouldn't even be running for office.
This whole voter purging scandal scaring the s$%^t out of me because i'm worried that the republicans will try to steal the elections again.-

They WILL try to steal it, but we must be diligent, have attorneys present at each voting station, combat the purge and other schemes, and stand up to them if they try to walk away with a usurped win...
I feel no sorrow for McCain or Palin, lately, they've been contributiing to their own political demise, by engaging in scandelous campaign behavior, far beneath anyone of statesman capability...very shameful and pathetic...

There is not much physical action from McCains feet to his neck and from the neck upwards there is very little else working
This must also be thought about his followers

if he does have trauma from being a POW then tough luck, the same thing he is saying to the troops coming home today with battle fatigue. He of all people should know how serious it is, that must be why he did not vote in favor of the vets. No excuses, he is old and getting forgetful and cranky. I bet prior to Nam he was just another angry spoiled rich brat.
-
how is mccain trying to steal the election? its the democrats who are going around finding homeless people who probably have no knowledge of either candidate and registering them to vote all the while telling them to vote for obama. voter fraud...look it up
