Aliens Rock The Vote

One in ten people in America are silently screaming right now. They’re surrounded by election fever but cannot vote for our next president. They care about our country –– passionately enough to leave their own behind –– but are frozen out of the electoral process.

Aliensvote.net is giving this massive minority a voice. It’s a site where the estimated 29.1 million aliens residing in America can cast a vote. Their votes won’t count in the election, but at least their wishes can be heard. After all, they pay taxes, have homes, businesses, children, and futures here, and contribute to our society in a myriad of ways.

If they are hear illegally, they should be booted out. They are breaking our laws, they do not deserve a vote. I will be forwarding this website address to ICE.

Seriously. You think illegal aliens should be able to vote? Or do you mean only legal, Green Card holding aliens?

My wife is a naturalized US Citizen, and now she can vote. While she held her Green Card, she couldn't.

If they love this country, they can become citizens. Any country that would allow "visitors" a say in the way things are run will not last long.

Oh yeah...the other big problem: Give Green Card holders the right to vote, and the next thing that will happen is it will get MUCH harder to get a Green Card. Nobody needs that.

If you are referring to ILLEGALS, then I have nothing to say at all except NO.

Not all aliens are illegal. These people have visas, green cards, pay taxes, and contribute to society.

And let's get some perspective here, unless you're a native American indian, you're basically a Johnny foreigner too.

My wife had no vote while she was a LEGAL alien. She chose to join the American people and and become an American citizen, and with that decision received the privilege of participation in the electoral process.

I have lived overseas, and worked and paid taxes to foreign governments without receiving the right to vote. Paying taxes didn't give me the right to tell them how to run their country. If I didn't like it, I was free to leave.

People on Visas are friggin' visitors. Could you imagine the voter fraud possible if foreign countries could flood the US with Visa holders who could VOTE? I can, and I see the END of the USA.

Look, basically aliens have 3 choices:
    1) Sign up for the full package to get the full benefits. Become a citizen. It isn't that hard, and you don't even have to know English all that well.
    2) Continue to reap the considerable benefits afforded to Resident Aliens, and put up with the rest of us making decisions (many of them stupid and wrong).
    3) Go home.

I don't think those choices are so bad.

As I said, if you give the right to vote to every Green Card and Visa holder, they will make getting a Green Cards and Visas much harder. THAT won't be good for all of the folks who would prefer choice #2.
