On October 11, 2002 Congress approved the "Iraq War Resolution" granting the Bush administration authorization to invade Iraq. Six years later, 1 in 3 Iraqis have been killed, wounded, or displaced. Over 4000 U.S. soldiers have been killed with tens of thousands more seriously wounded. How many more billions will be looted from vital social needs such as jobs, education, healthcare, disaster relief or libraries, firehouses, childcare, or Social Security?

Join us to demand:

* Stop the wars and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan
* Money for jobs, education, healthcare and housing - not for war and occupation
* No sanctions or attack on Iran
* Stop the racist scapegoating of Arabs and Muslims
* Stop the assault on human rights and civil liberties

Saturday
Oct. 11th
March & Rally
Boston Common
Beacon & Charles St.
Music starts @ 11 am

I've been coming to Current.com for some time now and love reading every post. Yesterday while I was on my way to a teach a computer class I saw a sticker on the train that said Stop the War Oct 11th. I feel like this is a sign. It's time for action! If you can come, at least swing by at 2pm for marching. We need to be heard.

Thank You.

I admire your bravery and tenacity. You make me proud to be an American and represent what our forefathers originally fought for. I hope all goes well
with your special day. Keep an eye out for the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team, U.S. Army North. It would not surprise me if they either backed up the Boston Police or took their place for "crowd control." Hail to our forefathers and all who work to preserve our rights and freedoms. Peace in and peace out. Be well.
