Fairness4Fathers is getting organized... Sean Delevan

Fairness4Fathers is a not for profit corporation that was formed to address the corruption and injustices within family court. When F4F was started, it was largely done out of desperation and frustration from issues dealing with my own case. Having never been involved with a not for profit, it became obvious that I had no idea what I was doing and needed help.

There were certain priorities that needed to be dealt with before I could even begin to help and reach out to others. Many people who are involved or have open court cases within the family court are suffering mentally, financially, and spiritually. I was no different in this regard.It was then that I realized what needed to be done for both myself and for others who are dealing with the pain of alienation, separation, and the devastating effects of Family Court.

The mission and purpose of Fairness4Fathers has become clear. Fairness4Fathers as well as myself has taken the proper steps to identify and understand that there needs to be a healing process for those trapped in the Family Court System.

It is my opinion that we cannot make change to the current system while we are struggling to cope with the pain and loss of our children. For the past year, I have sought the skills and tools to effectively understand and obtain the knowledge and skills to counsel and advise others on surviving through this process.

Having obtained my State required certification, I am now able to counsel in order to gain my required hours to be a full fledged licensed practicioner. On top of this, I am currently in college in a undergraduate program to eventually obtain my Master's Degree in Psychology.

This is a long road but I feel that it is imperative that we are healed before we attempt to fight. Knowledge is great when you are of sound mind. What good is knowledge if you are crippled by your emotions.

To the right of this blog is Fairness4Fathers first ever banner. It has been a long process but I am glad to say that F4F is starting to get organized.

I look forward to the road ahead and hope to be able to assist those who seek guidance and help. Whether it is in a professional setting or a personal one.
