So it would appear he is serving time in jail because he didn't challenge the constitutionality of the variance within 21 days in 1997.(?) This sucks all the way around, but I'm glad he is standing up for his work and for free speech. His work is beautiful btw.

Thats messed up! "Sinage Variance" what the hell is that?Didn`t Ed have to get a permit for the mural in the first place? And whoever comissioned him for the work take the time to view the preliminary drawings? Or maybe Ed`s artist signature is LOVE!Anyway I sure hope Ed paints LOVE all over the jail cell walls!!!!!!!!!

This really bugs me!. Nothing against landscapes, and still life,their beautiful to, but art is more interesting when it challenges our mind, spirit and soul, to think outside the box,even if you dont care for the piece...Embrace artistic expression!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
