Great post. There's so much talk of figures, banks, projections, speculations, but never any talk of what is actually happening to people on the ground.

Our hearts go out to the people, from Iceland, but its good to know that blood sucking bankers are not just limited to the USA.

When I was in the military I was stationed there in Keflavik . There economy was bound for disaster everything was super inflated a beer would cost you 8-10 dollars U.S., all they had was fishing and tourism to support there economy and the U.S. employed about 6000 of there 300,000 citizens on base or for support off base . When I was there we were constantly being protested that they wanted us out of the country. Guess what they got what they asked for, the military left and took the jobs with them . I'm sure they didn't leave due to the protests but losing that many jobs in a country that small couldn't help. Not to mention the money that the military personell and thier families spent in the country.
