You do not need to watch it from youtube. The makers stream it directly from the site and also provide sources for most of their information.
Excellent movie that fits very well with our current struggles in society!

I love this concept, except it pretty much means I have to forsake my life and live in a teepee somewhere in north dakota. I kind of want to.

I'll take a teepee designed by Jacques Fresco over the brick and tile any day.
It's not about forsaking your life and living in a teepee. It's about forsaking all life if we continue our subservience to money.

help me understand this.... without "money" as a medium of exchange, doesn't the only alternative become a complete barter system?
if the answer to this question is "no, but you need a HARD MONEY system" to solve that, fine... i can grok that, too.

Why do I have the feeling that humanity should be well past this stage ?
Could advances in technology being repressed so our addiction to oil be maintained way pass it's actual real need ?
Could our ruling class be 100% composed of child chewing monsters ?
