while short, this video was informative. fair trade around chocolate has long been an issue. it was really inspiring seeing the whole family involved in the business. not exactly sure what to think of the chickens :-)

This video gives a short history of chocolate in Venezuela, the roots of African slavery there, and shows the processing of chocolate by a family of African-Venezuelan descent. Highly informative and excellent treatment on how this delicious delicacy makes it to our own country.
