Obama
Myself and two of my friends moved to New York for a month, on our own dime, to do a music video to bring attention to the importance of the upcoming election. After turmoil and constant changes we made the decision to shorten our project and focus our effort. It became our labor of love and patriotism. I would like to say thank you to all the other folks who added so much for so little to our work.

Negativity rears its ugly head in this election
Negativity begats more negativity. It doesn’t take rocket science to know that. Try being around someone who sees the glass half full all the time, and soon, you can’t see anything in the glass at all. It also is a way to play to people’s fears so the person using negativity can try to manipulate the process.
This campaign is no exception to manipulative negativity in political ads. In a recent commentary on negative campaign ads, Darrell West of the Brooking Institute notes:” Attack ads broadcast in recent months have twisted the truth, lied about personal background, taken statements out of context, and clearly sought to manipulate voter sentiments.”
But do these attacks on candidates also incite anger and racism? In a recent campaign visit, Governor Palin was speaking to a raucaus crowd about Obama and his so called connection to terrorists. Some one from the crowd screamed, “Kill him”. Palin did nothing.
At the recent debate, McCain used the term : that one, in referring to Senator Obama. The question is: without overtly playing the race card, is the McCain team playing on people’s fears and inciting what is still (unfortunately) present, racism? I ask this question because a friend of mine received this picture via her cell phone from an acquaintance of hers, asking….do you believe this? Keeping Sarah Palin Honest
I agree that we should support our troops and give them all the resources not only in war but when they return home and need assistance re-assimilating into society.
My daddy too was a soldier and served his country heroically and with honor but being a good soldier is not necessarily a quality to be President. As I read the Rolling Stone article that Tim Dickinson wrote and I thought that he reported facts of McCain's record as a soldier and a person.
The McCain that we saw abruptly suspend his campaign and asked to cancel the first debate, is the same McCain that Dickinson's article portrayed very accurately. When you get to be McCain's age, it is very hard to re-wire yourself - your character is already formed and no one can re-mold you. If you visit this youtube video, you will see evidence of McCain flip flops in his own words, not yours, not that one or mine but his.

Hip Hop artists JUICE and Seel Fresh have their own presidential debate to encourage voter registration.
Chicago, Il- On Sunday October 5, 2008, Rock the Vote and Chicago area event promotion company, “the Out Crowd” featured Chicago hip hop artists Juice as Barack Obama and and Seel Fresh as John McCain having a Presidential Debate in the form of a Freestyle (improvisational) MC (Rap) Battle.
The night took place at Evil Olive in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood and was hosted by Anacron B. Allen and Cristophe Roberts. The purpose of the event was to register voters before the deadline October 7th deadline raising awareness and stressing urgency of the upcoming election.
About Juice-
Juice is a Chicago Native who went to school in L.A. and made a name for himself on the west coast freestyle rap circuit in the process. Known for his unbelievable improvisational rap skills, Juice has made numerous appearances on the internationally syndicated Sway and tech Wake Up Show and won countless MC battles around the world. One of Juices most notable battles is his win against Eminem at Scribble Jam ( an annual hip hop festival in Cincinnati) in 1997 along with his participation in the Rap Olympics, also with Eminem.
In addition to his remarkable freestyling ability and impressive battle history, Juice has a handful of studio recordings such as The Man, 100% JUICE, Tip Of The Iceberg, Listen 2 The Words, All Bets Off, and New Money. About Seel Fresh-
Seel Fresh is a certified True School Scholar. He originally became known throughout Chicago for being a prominent all city fixture in the city's competitive graffiti scene. Although his main focus was getting his name up on spots around town, Seel was simultaneously making a name for himself as mc catching wreck within Chicago's hip hop community and loft party scene.
