Gidget Gein (Marilyn Manson) R.I.P.
eports are coming in that former Marilyn Manson band member Brad Stewart (a.k.a. Gidget Gein) has died. He was apparently found at his Burbank home yesterday (Thursday, October 9). An overdose is suspected to be the cause of his death, but the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office aren't issuing any details until his family have been notified.
Stewart played bass with Manson from 1989 through 1993. He was fired from the band, and was replaced by Twiggy Ramirez, however his influence remained apparent in Manson's style and music. eports are coming in that former Marilyn Manson band member Brad Stewart (a.k.a. Victoria's secret, bird poo
Victoria Beckham received a lot of attention recently for revealing the secret to her glowing skin: bird poo. The former Spice Girl spends close to $170 on the trendy Japanese facial treatment of nightingale droppings. A source told the Daily Mail "She tried it and loved how great her skin looked. She also uses a cream derived from nightingale poo at home."
A seller on Ebay has Uguisu nightingale droppings listed at $19.99. The Japanese beauty cream has been used in Geisha and Kabuki actor's makeup for centuries, and it contains an enzyme that has a natural skin lightening effect. Crash With Dennis Hopper
A constellation of A-list stars worked for scale on writer/director Paul Haggis' film Crash, just so they could be a part of the socially-charged indie project. It paid off for them as everyone involved with Crash got some acclaim and indie cred. The film plowed on to win three Academy Awards.
The new small-screen version of Crash, which premieres on Starz on October 17, has an impressive legacy to live up to, but only one big name; Screen legend Dennis Hopper plays a record producer in one of many interweaving ensemble stories. All of the characters are original to the series, and yes, Hopper's goes crazy.
"I don't think that I can only play crazy people but maybe that's all I can play," says Hopper, who redefined the Hollywood psycho archetype when he played sociopath Frank Booth in the 1986 David Lynch noir flick Blue Velvet. "I love acting and as long as I can act, I will be doing it. I'm rather a mild mannered, quiet kind of guy, an introvert, so these characters that I play have very little to do with my reality. That's interesting for me, and it's a drag for me also."
Still, when Hopper appears in a movie, you can usually expect him to go nuts on someone. In person, the once wild-living, motorcycle-loving renaissance man is calm and cool, more like one of the mellow characters from Easy Rider, the 1969 classic American counterculture road movie which Hopper co-wrote, directed and starred in.
After a press conference with the producers of Crash, Hopper hung around to chat about his character and its connection to fellow Easy Rider, Phil Spector....

Topless glamour model Jodie Marsh is set to address the Oxford Union together with strip club owner Peter Stringfellow and David Beckham's former "assistant" Rebecca Loos.
The unlikely trio will join the ranks of world statesmen and leading literary and religious figures who have been invited into the university debating chamber. Former speakers at the debates include Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Mother Teresa, and the Dalai Lama, but this term Loos, famous for allegedly having an affair with David Beckham, will chat about celebrity life while the debating society will hear Marsh's opinion that she 'would rather be good-looking than good'.

Britney says her life is back on track
It may seem unbelievable, but it seems Britney Spears is finally coming back to her senses. In a recent documentary, the singer no longer appears disturbed but reasonable and regretful.
Over the last few years, Britney’s life has been one drama after another. A ruined marriage with Mr. Wrong, the loss of custody of her sons, hard partying, breakdowns, a spell in hospital, rehab, a shaved head, questionable ‘love’ affairs and performances notable for all the wrong reasons - particularly her disastrous show at the MTV Music Awards last year.
There have been a lot of scandals, a lot of head-shaking, and not much to celebrate….
But now, it appears the singer is getting her life back on track. In an interview with MTV, produced by her management, which will be shown on November 30 on American television, the 26-year-old singer sounded like she’s making sense - for the first time in a while!
She said: “I sit there and I look back. I'm a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?"

Women more interested in celebrities than own health
Women are more interested in celebrity culture than their own health, a charity claims after conducting a poll of 1,000 women.
The poll found that nearly four out of five women could name Coleen McLoughlin as footballer Wayne Rooney's wife. However, just over half said they checked their breast for lumps once a month or more. The survey showed there was a particular lack of awareness among older women.
Arlene Wilkie, director of research and policy at Breast Cancer Campaign, said: "While women are clued up about the latest gossip from celeb-land, it appears they are dismissing serious information that could save lives. More than 45,500 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer every year and we know that early diagnosis gives the best possible chance of survival." Playboy king's little men don't work
Poor old Hugh Hefner will be crying into his lettuce - the 82-year-old porn mogul’s favourite Playboy bunny has hopped off to greener pastures. Holly Madison (28) apparently left Hugh because his low sperm count means he is unable to father children.
Dumped Hugh told ‘E!Online’: “If she says it's over, it's over. But like I've said before, she is the love of my life, and I expected to spend the rest of my life with her.”
The relationship began to fall apart when Hugh and Holly tried to have a child.
“With my sperm count, it's not possible. I was willing but it was not possible… She'd like to be married and have children, but it's not in the cards here for me,” Hugh explained.
