Confidence Is Leaving the Fiat Money System
Were it not for ever-greater increases in central-bank money and the market expectation that governments are about to make taxpayers shoulder commercial banks' huge losses, the fiat money systems would presumably collapse right away.
International interbank short-term lending rates say it all: the latest drastic increases in yield spreads between money-market rates and official central-bank rates are indicative of the growing reluctance among banks to extend loans to each other, for fear that borrowers could default on their payment obligations.
Under today's fiat-money regime, banks, under governments' auspices, increase the money stock "out of thin air" whenever they extend loans. The money supply is built on credit, which, in turn, hinges on peoples' confidence in banks and banks' confidence in their borrowers' ability and willingness to service their debt. Fairness4Fathers is getting organized... Sean Delevan
Fairness4Fathers is a not for profit corporation that was formed to address the corruption and injustices within family court. When F4F was started, it was largely done out of desperation and frustration from issues dealing with my own case. Having never been involved with a not for profit, it became obvious that I had no idea what I was doing and needed help.
There were certain priorities that needed to be dealt with before I could even begin to help and reach out to others. Many people who are involved or have open court cases within the family court are suffering mentally, financially, and spiritually. I was no different in this regard.It was then that I realized what needed to be done for both myself and for others who are dealing with the pain of alienation, separation, and the devastating effects of Family Court.
The mission and purpose of Fairness4Fathers has become clear. Fairness4Fathers as well as myself has taken the proper steps to identify and understand that there needs to be a healing process for those trapped in the Family Court System.
It is my opinion that we cannot make change to the current system while we are struggling to cope with the pain and loss of our children. For the past year, I have sought the skills and tools to effectively understand and obtain the knowledge and skills to counsel and advise others on surviving through this process.
Having obtained my State required certification, I am now able to counsel in order to gain my required hours to be a full fledged licensed practicioner. On top of this, I am currently in college in a undergraduate program to eventually obtain my Master's Degree in Psychology.
This is a long road but I feel that it is imperative that we are healed before we attempt to fight. Knowledge is great when you are of sound mind. What good is knowledge if you are crippled by your emotions.
To the right of this blog is Fairness4Fathers first ever banner. It has been a long process but I am glad to say that F4F is starting to get organized.
I look forward to the road ahead and hope to be able to assist those who seek guidance and help. Whether it is in a professional setting or a personal one.

Author Le Clezio wins Nobel prize
French novelist Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clezio has been awarded this year's Nobel Prize for Literature.
The 68-year-old has been honoured with the 10m kronor (£820,810) award for his distinguished life's work. The Swedish Academy describes him as "an author of new departures, poetic adventure and sensual ecstasy." It goes on to call him "an explorer of a humanity beyond and below the reigning civilisation." British author Doris Lessing won last year's prize.
Le Clezio's breakthrough as a novelist came in 1980 with Desert, a work the Swedish academy praised for its "magnificent images of a lost culture in the North African desert."
His most recent works include 2007's Ballaciner, a work the academy called a "deeply personal essay about the history of the art of film". The author has also included several books for children, among them Lullaby in 1980 and Balaabilou in 1985. He has won a number of literary honours in his native France, among them the Prix Larbaud in 1972 and the Grand Prix Jean Giono in 1997.
Born in Nice in 1940, Le Clezio spent two years as a child in Nigeria and has taught in universities in Bangkok, Boston and Mexico City. He will receive his prize medal alongside this year's other Nobel Laureates at a ceremony in Stockholm on 10 December.
Winners of the Nobel Prize for Literature traditionally deliver a lecture in the Swedish city before accepting their award. The first Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded in 1901 to the French poet and philosopher Sully Prudhomme. Writers recognised in recent years include V S Naipaul in 2001, J M Coetzee in 2003 and Harold Pinter in 2005. Cuba's Organic Urban Farming Effort
Organic farming -- often considered an insignificant part of the food supply --
can feed an entire country concludes a report by the Oakland, CA-based
Institute for Food and Development Policy/Food First, a group advocating
sustainable farming.
In Cuba, many of the foods people eat every day are grown without synthetic
fertilizers and toxic pesticides, the report, Cultivating Havana: Urban Agriculture
and Food Security in the Years of Crisis, found.
Cuba's organic food movement developed in response to a crisis. Before the
revolution that threw out dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1959, and to some extent
during the years of Soviet support for Cuba, the island followed a typical pattern
of colonial food production: It produced luxury export crops while importing
food for its own people. In 1990 over 50% of Cuba's food came from imports.
"In the Caribbean, food insecurity is a direct result of centuries of colonialism that
prioritized the production of sugar and other cash crops for export, neglecting
food crops for domestic consumption," the report says. In spite of efforts by the
revolutionary government to correct this situation, Cuba continued in this mold
until the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1989.
The withdrawal of Soviet aid meant that 1,300,000 tons of chemical fertilizers,
17,000 tons of herbicides, and 10,000 tons of pesticides, could no longer be
imported, according to the report.
One of Cuba's responses to the shock was to develop "urban agriculture,"
intensifying the previously established National Food Program, which aimed
at taking thousands of poorly utilized areas, mainly around Havana, and turning
them into intensive vegetable gardens. Planting in the city instead of only in the
countryside reduced the need for transportation, refrigeration, and other scarce
resources.
The plan succeeded beyond anyone's dreams. By 1998 there were over 8000
urban farms and community gardens run by over 30,000 people in and around
Havana.
Urban agriculture is now a "major element of the Havana cityscape," the Food
First report says, and the model is now being copied throughout the country,
with production growing at 250-350% per year. Today, food from the urban
farms is grown almost entirely with active organic methods, the report says.
Havana has outlawed the use of chemical pesticides in agriculture within city
limits.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is distantly related to the late Princess Diana and late U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt, genealogy experts said on Wednesday.
The governor of Alaska and the princess are tenth cousins, while Palin and Roosevelt are ninth cousins once removed, said Ancestry.com, online genealogists based in Provo, Utah.
The genealogical connections are not the first to gain attention in the U.S. presidential campaign. Last year, Lynne Cheney said she found while tracing her family roots that her husband Vice President Dick Cheney was a distant cousin of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Hip Hop artists JUICE and Seel Fresh have their own presidential debate to encourage voter registration.
Chicago, Il- On Sunday October 5, 2008, Rock the Vote and Chicago area event promotion company, “the Out Crowd” featured Chicago hip hop artists Juice as Barack Obama and and Seel Fresh as John McCain having a Presidential Debate in the form of a Freestyle (improvisational) MC (Rap) Battle.
The night took place at Evil Olive in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood and was hosted by Anacron B. Allen and Cristophe Roberts. The purpose of the event was to register voters before the deadline October 7th deadline raising awareness and stressing urgency of the upcoming election.
About Juice-
Juice is a Chicago Native who went to school in L.A. and made a name for himself on the west coast freestyle rap circuit in the process. Known for his unbelievable improvisational rap skills, Juice has made numerous appearances on the internationally syndicated Sway and tech Wake Up Show and won countless MC battles around the world. One of Juices most notable battles is his win against Eminem at Scribble Jam ( an annual hip hop festival in Cincinnati) in 1997 along with his participation in the Rap Olympics, also with Eminem.
